Mobile Electronics Certified Professional (MECP)

Introduced in 1991, the Mobile Electronics Certified Professional certification is recognized by retail organizations and industry manufacturers. MECP is recognized throughout the U.S. and Canada as the official certification for mobile electronics installers. The program is administered by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) a division of the Electronics Industries Alliance (EIA). Most manufacturers and retail store owners are EIA or CEA members. MECP certification consists of 3 main levels of accomplishment: Basic Installation Technician, Advanced Installation Technician, and Master Installation Technician.

MECP certification is a key component of our training program and our goal is to prepare our graduates for National Certification. Following graduation from Mobile Dynamics students are encouraged to register with MECP for their Basic Installation Technician Exam. Exams are held throughout the U.S. and Canada at Prometric testing centers.

Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association (SBCA)

While our main focus is the mobile electronics industry, Mobile Dynamics is constantly searching for alternate career paths for our graduates. Our goal is to offer our graduates several possible career opportunities that further use the skills that our graduates attain while at Mobile Dynamics. The SBCA is an excellent fit for our school and its graduates. This certification opens the door to Satellite TV Installation.

The Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association of America is the national trade organization representing all segments of the satellite industry. Mobile Dynamics programs prepare students for SBCA Certification. SBCA certified technicians work for national and regional satellite TV installation companies.

Following Mobile Dynamics Training graduates are encouraged to attend a one-day SBCA hosted Satellite Fundamentals workshop and exam session. Graduates then receive their SBCA certification.
